A New show For Britain’s Punjabi and Indian Community
Veteran journalist Anmol Kaur hosts the new programme, coming to Sky Channel 770 this October
London, September 2026. GTC Punjabi UK launches UK NOW in October. The new programme puts Britain’s Punjabi, Sikh and wider Indian community at the centre of the screen. UK NOW brings together community news, current affairs, events and exclusive interviews. It tells the stories of the people building the diaspora’s future in Britain, told by people who understand it.
Stories from every corner of Britain – The show goes beyond the headlines. It covers cultural celebrations, community initiatives, local achievements and the everyday issues that affect British Punjabi and Indian families. A cultural festival in London. A community project in Birmingham. A young British Punjabi turning an idea into a business. UK NOW brings these stories together in one programme.
Conversations with the names that shape the culture – each episode features exclusive interviews with Punjabi and Bollywood singers, actors, directors, public figures and politicians. Guests talk about their careers, their upcoming projects and their connection with Britain’s South Asian community.
Hosted by Anmol Kaur – Anmol Kaur brings 18 years of media experience to the show. Her journalism and her close understanding of the community shape the programme’s focus: strong stories and honest conversations.
“Our community has so many stories that never reach the screen. UK NOW exists to tell them. Every week, we’ll bring viewers the people, the events and the conversations that matter to them.”
Dr Rabindra Narayan, Founder and Managing Director of GTC Network, said: “The Punjabi community in Britain deserves a platform that reflects its size, its success and its voice. UK NOW is that platform. It connects British Punjabis with their own stories and with the stars and leaders they care about.”
UK NOW starts in October on GTC Punjabi UK, Sky Channel 770.
