It’s a six,
Or, in a mirror, it’s a nine,
Maybe the answer’s at the end of the line?
It all lies in the person’s mind.
The world in shades is black and white,
Which shade, I wonder, shall be mine?
In the sky up high,
The moon is there,
To light up the night,
The stars make all the strings of hope align,
In the darkest of nights.
The world in shades is balck and white,
Does darkness claim this heart of mine?
When the horizon is in time,
The grass, earth and sky align,
Then comes the sun and an orange dawn,
Makes the earth brimming with life.
The world in shades is black and white,
Or shall I lay claim to the light?
Verity and reverie are one of a kind,
But both lie on different sides of a coin,
The heart is dark as well as bright,
For some kindness is true, for some it’s a lie.
The shades of the world dissolve to dull grey,
Is this where the past and future of a soul align?
